Issue 6 of Book Club went home last week. The due date for orders is Friday 5th September.  All orders must be placed through LOOP online; no orders are to be sent into the school. Below is a link explaining how to use LOOP.

Book Week

Our Book Week celebrations last week were once again fantastic. A special salute to all of the parents, guardians, helpers, minions, and grandparents who assisted or came along to support.

As has now become tradition here at St James, it has been decided that in 2026 we will again be supporting our student literacy development by asking students to come dressed as the definition of a word. This has been an amazing success in the past and has achieved some wonderful learning outcomes.

The Premiers Reading Challenge 2025

The PRC for 2025 has been underway for some time now and we already have some industrious students who have completed their reading lists for this year. We would like as many of our students as possible to qualify for their certificate this year, so READ ON!

Due to some IT problems earlier in the year at the PRC end, The Premiers Reading Challenge has been extended to the 19th of September. There is, therefore, plenty of time to complete those reading lists and qualify for the PRC Reading Certificate that will be handed out in Term 4.
